According to The Turkish Exporter Assembly, Turkey exported  59 million worth of weapons to Ukraine in the first three months of 2022. That’s a lot more than the first three months of 2021. In the first three months of 2021, Turkey exported ৯ 1.9 million worth of weapons to Ukraine. However, it is unknown at this time what kind of weapons Ukraine will import from Turkey in 2022.

“Ukraine is now one of the main partners in Turkey’s defense industry,” said Arda Mevlutoglu, a neutral defense expert. Ukraine has ordered the purchase of TB-2 armed drones and Millgame class Corvette warships from Bayrakta, Turkey. The agreement was reached during Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s visit to Ukraine in February. At that time an agreement was reached to build a factory for the production of TB-2 drones in Bayrakta.
