Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi has called on Indian industrialists to invest in Bangladesh. Interestingly, the scooter that Brij Mohan chose for himself is priced at Rs 61,000. But behind the number plate, he has already spent about 22 times more than the scooter.

Indian media NDTV published a report on the incident on Wednesday. According to the report, Brij Mohan’s home is in Chandigarh in the northern Indian state of Haryana. He runs an advertising agency. He wants to buy a scooter of his choice during this year’s Diwali festival. And he wants to put a special number plate on the scooter of his choice. Meanwhile, the Haryana state government has recently announced that the use of special number plates for cars and motorcycles will be allowed in exchange for extra money. Auctions will be organized for this. The Haryana government has taken this initiative to increase revenue.

After the state government’s announcement, Brij Mohan applied to the Chandigarh Registration and Licensing Authority for a special number plate to fulfill his wish. In the end, he bought a ‘Super VIP’ number plate at the auction for 15 lakh 44 thousand rupees. Whose number ended with 0001.

The six-day Sixth World Bengal Trade Conference kicked off in Kolkata on Wednesday. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee inaugurated the conference at New Town, Rajarhat, Kolkata.

At the time, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi called upon the industrialists from home and abroad to attend the conference. He said Bangladesh also wants to invest in West Bengal industry this time.

Speaking at the inaugural function, Mamata Banerjee said that West Bengal is now moving fast towards industrialization. The state has a favorable environment for investment in industry. Therefore, he urged the industrialists from home and abroad to invest in West Bengal.

West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar delivered the welcome address at the industrial conference. He also emphasized on further investment in the interest of development in West Bengal.

The World Bengal Conference has not been held for the last two years due to Corona. After being closed for a long time, industrialists and economists from home and abroad took part in this conference. Industrialists from the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Kenya, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Italy, South Korea, Norway, Poland, the Netherlands and Finland took part.

Gautam Adani, head of Adani Industrial Group, industrialist Sajjan Jindal, Sanjeev Goenka, industrialist Narendra, Sanjeev Puri, Niranjan Advani and others were present at the time. They promised to invest in West Bengal. The two-day industrial conference organized by the West Bengal Government’s Industrial Development Corporation will end on Thursday.
