Earlier in the day, Zelensky told CNN on Friday that between 2,500 and 3,000 Ukrainian troops had been killed since Russia launched its offensive on February 24.

According to Igor Konashenkov, Russia’s special military operations in Ukraine so far have resulted in 134 Ukrainian aircraft, 460 drones (drones), 246 air defense systems, 2,269 tanks and other military vehicles, 252 missile launchers, 96 artillery and 15 mortars. Special military vehicles have been destroyed.

In the last 24 hours, a plane carrying supplies to the Ukrainian army was destroyed in the attack, said Russian official Konashenkov. He said the plane was carrying a large quantity of Western weapons near the Ukrainian city of Odessa.
