Russia kills more than 23,000 Ukrainian troops

At a press conference on Saturday, Igor Konashenkov said that the Russian Defense Ministry had a reliable account of the losses suffered by the Ukrainian army, the National Guard and foreign mercenaries in the war. Earlier in the day, Zelensky told CNN on Friday that 2,500 to 3,000 Ukrainian troops had been killed since Russia launched its offensive on February 24.

Russia’s Defense Ministry spokesman Konashenkov has denied the allegations, saying more than 4,000 Ukrainian troops had been killed in the Russian operation in the town of Mariupol alone.

According to Igor Konashenkov, Russia’s special military operations so far have included 134 Ukrainian aircraft, 460 drones (unmanned aerial vehicles), 246 air defense systems, 2,269 tanks and other military vehicles, 252 missile launchers and 15 special missiles, 96 warheads and 97 special missiles. The vehicle was destroyed.

In the last 24 hours, a plane carrying supplies to the Ukrainian army was destroyed in the attack, Russian official Konashenkov said. According to him, the plane was carrying a large quantity of Western weapons near the Ukrainian city of Odessa. Igor Konashenkov also said that 15 installations in Ukraine had been attacked.
