Russia has demanded the downing of a Western arms plane. The information was reported live on BBC Online on Sunday.

According to Moscow, the Western military aircraft carrying the aircraft belonged to Ukraine. The plane was shot down by Russia’s air defense unit.

Moscow claims that the Ukrainian military aircraft was carrying shipments of weapons sent by Western countries.

Russia has stepped up its attacks on Ukraine following the sinking of the Black Sea warship Moscow.

Igor Konashenkov said the Russian air force had destroyed 16 Ukrainian military installations overnight with high-powered missile strikes.

At a news conference, Igor Konashenkov said that among the 17 military installations attacked were 11 archives of Ukrainian military vehicles in the village of Povastansko in the Odessa region.

Last Thursday, the Russian warship Moscow sank in the Black Sea. This Soviet-era warship is a symbol of the bravery of Russian forces.

Russia says the ship caught fire. Later, when it was pulled towards the shore, it fell into the storm and sank. However, Ukrainian authorities say they fired missiles at the ship.
