Al Jazeera reports that the US president made the remarks while Russia was celebrating the anniversary of World War II.

On the 7th anniversary of the victory over Nazi forces in World War II, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that the war frenzy has spread in Europe again. Those who want to distort the memory of history in order to satisfy their high desires should be resisted.
“We have a sacred responsibility to those killed in the war as we celebrate the end of World War II,” Blinken said. To tell the truth of the past, we should help those who are fighting for freedom now.

Analysts believe that Russian President Vladimir Putin may make a big announcement on May 9. The day of the surrender of Hitler’s Nazi forces in World War II. Which is celebrated quite a bit in Russia.
