Peace prevails on India’s eastern border for Bangladesh

India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has said that peace prevails on India’s eastern border as it has friendly neighbors like Bangladesh. Indian media NDTV reported this information in a report on Saturday.

Rajnath Singh was speaking at a reception for Assam-based veterans who took part in the 1971 war on Saturday (April 23rd).

He said that India has succeeded in giving the message that terrorism will be tackled resolutely. If India is targeted by any country from outside, we too will not hesitate to cross the borders of that country.

Referring to Bangladesh at the time, the Indian Defense Minister said that the tension seen in the western part of India did not exist before. Because there is a friendly country like Bangladesh.

The problem of infiltration on the eastern border of India has almost disappeared. Rajnath Singh also said that peace is prevailing there now.
