Pakistan strongly condemns Israeli attack on Al-Aqsa

Pakistan has strongly condemned the Israeli attack on the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Israeli-occupied East Jerusalem. The country said on Friday that the Israeli army had committed “grave human rights abuses” during Ramadan. News – Geo News.

A statement from Pakistan’s foreign ministry said the crackdown was “inhumane” and “a clear violation of human rights law.”

Dozens of Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces this week, the statement said. Numerous Palestinians have been injured in occupied East Jerusalem and other areas. Violence by Israeli forces in the Palestinian territories is escalating, which is very sad.

The statement reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for Palestine and called for a two-state solution in the light of the UN (UN) and Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) resolutions.

According to Al-Jazeera, clashes broke out between Israeli police and Palestinian protesters on the premises of Al-Aqsa Mosque on Friday morning. The clashes centered on an Israeli police operation in al-Aqsa during the holy month of Ramadan. Israeli riot police fired rubber bullets and grenades at Palestinian protesters.

Israeli police say a group of protesters hurled stones at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound. Police entered to disperse them.

Witnesses say members of the Israeli security forces fired rubber bullets at Palestinian protesters. Protesters also hurled stones at Israeli forces. The Palestinian Red Crescent said most of the injured had been taken to hospital.
