This is how artist Shamset Tabreji was introduced in the program titled ‘Conversation with the artist’ on Friday.

An exhibition of 75 paintings by artist Shamset Tabreji titled ‘Name Design’ is underway at Kalakendra on Iqbal Road in the capital. On this occasion, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Dhaka University Professor Nisar Hossain unveiled the cover of the album titled ‘Shamset Tabreji’.

Nisar Hossain said that Shamset Tabreji is not bound by the web of artistic art language. He is expressing his thoughts on the canvas without any hesitation.

Professor Manas Chowdhury, Department of Anthropology, Jahangirnagar University and Wakilur Rahman, Director, Kalakendra also spoke on the occasion. Sylvia Nazneen, curator of the exhibition, presented the episode ‘Conversation with the Artist’.
