More than 1.1 million people have taken refuge in Russia from Ukraine: Lavrov

In the last two months since the start of the Russian operation in Ukraine on February 24, about 1.1 million people have fled Ukraine and taken refuge in Russia. Among them 10 lakh 2 thousand are citizens of Ukraine and the remaining 1 lakh 20 thousand are citizens of other countries.

The asylum seekers are all from Donetsk and Luhansk, two territories in eastern Ukraine.
