Modi-Shahbaz meeting may be in July

On 11 April, Shahbaz Sharif was elected Prime Minister of Pakistan. On the same day, Modi tweeted congratulating him. Modi tweeted that India wants peace and stability in the region. In a letter to Modi, Shahbaz said the same thing. He said Pakistan wanted a “peaceful and cooperative relationship” with India, which was essential for resolving the Kashmir dispute. Since then, political circles have been hoping for better relations between the two neighboring countries. In such a situation, it is heard that Modi-Sharif may hold a meeting in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in July.

The Shanghai Corporation Organization (SCO) is meeting in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on July 16 this year. The Prime Ministers of the two countries will go there. According to sources, Narendra Modi and Shahbaz Sharif may speak separately on the sidelines of the conference. With this, activities have also started between the two countries. If that meeting happens, Modi can go to Pakistan Katas Rajmandir. Sources also claim that Sharif can take him to Islamabad from there. However, the two countries have not yet said anything about it.

There are various tensions between India and Pakistan over Kashmir. Tensions at the border due to the problem. Talks, meetings, mediations have been held to resolve the Kashmir issue. But the solution is no more. However, attempts are made to find a solution. Although various initiatives have been taken for the establishment of peace, not much has been done. After the swearing in of the Prime Minister, Shahbaz Sharif spoke in favor of resolving the Kashmir issue.
