Another tip I can give you about Bali is to avoid the crowded beaches like Kuta in the southern part. Bali offers so much more than the partying, shopping, and hustle. A day trip to Bali’s mountainous north coast or central region is recommended. The Lovina Beach and Singaraja area. You’ll be amazed at the affordability of some old Lovina Hotels. The ocean is a lot calmer on Bali’s north coast and the whole area feels in a way like a step back into the 1970s. The pace is slower, and you might find that tranquility you were looking for when making your travel reservations.
The year is divided in three seasons in the tourism industry. The low season runs from mid-January through June, and mid-September through mid-December (excluding Easter or Lunar New Year holidays). The high season includes the whole months of July and September, as well as Easter and Lunar New Year holidays. The peak season is the busiest season and includes the whole month of July, mid-December, nusa penida private tour and mid January.
You have to be flexible and ready when opportunities present themselves. But, then, you’re retired, aren’t you? You make your own priorities and create your own schedule each day. You’re in precisely the right place at the right time to take advantage of opportunities like that.
For instance Bali, I have been past Uluwatu several times and have never had time to stop, I know there is great surfing, ocean front resorts and beautiful gardens, but haven’t squeezed it in yet. bali travel Tulamben has been to Bali many times. Amed, 6 miles away, is also nearby. There’s lots to see and plenty to do.People stay in Amed for weeks and have a great vacation with amazing muck diving and beaches.
How many bathrooms? TV in living area? Size of the Kitchen Size of living area Size of the pool In Villa catering? How many bathrooms? And so forth. You’d be amazed at how many people get burned by failing to ask these simple questions. This should cover most of the information, but you can ask any additional questions if necessary.
We like to stay in the beach resorts because they are family-friendly and always friendly. Jayakarta is a favourite as we have stayed there on two trips to Bali. We are planning to return to Jayakarta for our next trip in 2012. As a Bali tourist, I find Bali beach accommodation to be the best. There is always friendly people everywhere you look, we have met some of the greatest people who we now call friends and keep in regular contact with.
If you’re looking to save on travel costs and have the luxury of air-conditioned luxury while traveling to Thailand, why not take a bus? The bus fare from Chiang Mai in the north central highlands to the beach is even cheaper.
Surfing is another example of a sport where travelling is closely connected. Travelling is a necessity because the swell producing weather can be unpredictable. Every surfer looks forward to escaping the grey skies and blowing out waves. Coming off the plane in Bali for example, smelling the scent of Indonesia is already an experience. The sight of the reef swelling around Uluwatu from the cliffs is breathtaking.
