Pakistan’s Planning and Development Minister Ahsan Iqbal has accused former Prime Minister Imran Khan of playing with the country’s interests to keep his politics alive. He made the allegation at a press conference in the capital Islamabad on Sunday.
At the press conference, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal said Imran was trying to revive his “failed politics”.
The minister said the National Security Committee (NSC) had twice ruled out the possibility of a foreign conspiracy against Imran’s government.
ut Imran Niazi is playing with the national interest to keep his politics alive.
Ahsan Iqbal added, “If Pakistan wants to be a strong country, then our economy needs to be strong. This can only happen if we adapt ourselves to the world economy. Iqbal further complained that while Imran’s party PTI was in power, Pakistan’s relations with the European Union (EU), the United States and even many fraternal Muslim countries were bitter. That government took the risk of separating the country from them. The minister added that he did not want his country to be Cuba.
