Hina Rabbani has repeatedly emphasized the importance of improving relations with India, which has lost hostile relations with Pakistan. He made the remarks while talking about Pakistan’s foreign policy after taking over as foreign minister.
In an interview with Pakistan’s Geo Television, Hina Rabbani Khar said it was not possible for Pakistan to “win Kashmir by war”. Progress in this regard is possible only on the basis of mutual trust with neighboring India.
Hina Rabbani believes that no solution can be reached through hostile relations between the two neighboring countries. According to him, it is possible to move forward only through negotiations.
Hina Rabbani Khar, a highly educated man from the United States, entered Pakistani politics through the Pakistan Muslim League (Qaeda Azam). But within a few years, he changed his party and joined the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). He became the foreign minister during the PPP government.
