Benefits of Sukiyaki

When many people hear the word Sukiyaki, they automatically think about the Japanese version. However, there is an Okinawan version as well and it’s filled with delicious flavor that everyone can enjoy. After cooking seafood and vegetables in our signature dashi broth for 20 minutes, we top it off with cooked tofu and shiitake mushrooms. The cooking process caramelizes the natural sugars from our ingredients to create a rich flavor that will linger on your palate for hours after you eat it. What Is Sukiyaki

This popular Japanese dish is enjoyed in households across the world. It consists of thinly sliced beef and vegetables, cooked together with an assortment of seasoned soy sauce, sugar, salt, dashi and sake. Popular toppings include green onions, sesame seeds, and shirataki noodles. Sukiyaki can be served as a soup or stew. To serve it as a soup, boil water in a pot and add the ingredients before simmering for about 10 minutes. Serve immediately with rice on the side to make it into a meal. To serve it as a stew, pour all of the ingredients into an oven-safe dish and cook for 30 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
