Europe is financing Russia with blood money: Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has accused European countries of continuing to buy Russian oil. He says Europe is paying the price for Russian oil in the blood of others.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

In an interview with the BBC, President Zelensky pointed to Germany and Hungary. He accused the two countries of trying to block the sale of fuel oil to Russia. Russia will earn ৬ 327 billion this year from oil sales in Germany and Hungary.

There is growing frustration among Ukrainian leaders over Berlin’s position. Berlin has backed some of the Western sanctions imposed on Russia following the Russian invasion of Ukraine. But the country has opposed tougher measures on oil sales.

“Some of our friends and partners understand this is a different time,” Zelensky told the BBC from Kiev on Thursday. Now there is no question of business or money. It’s a matter of survival. ”

Ukraine’s president has called for more weapons to be delivered to his country, saying “arms are not being delivered fast enough to repel Russian attacks.” The United States, the United Kingdom and some European countries are trying to help and are helping. But this help is needed more quickly. The faster the better. If you can help now.

Meanwhile, Russian troops have withdrawn from the Ukrainian capital, Kiev. But there are now fears of bloody and protracted clashes in the east and south of the country. As Russian President Vladimir Putin seeks to retake more territory, he has re-concentrated his military operations there.

The southern port city of Mariupol has already been devastated by weeks of Russian bombardment. Zelensky said he thought thousands of people had been killed in the city.

Zelensky added that in addition to killing people, many are being evacuated. They are being kept in different camps or cities. No one knows what their situation is. No one can say how many were killed.

Regarding peace talks with Russia, Zelensky said the atrocities committed by Russian troops in Mariupol and Kiev’s Bucha and Borodanka had further narrowed the possibility of peace talks.
