According to Reuters, Musk wanted to pay 54.20 per share on Twitter. This information was given in a document of the regulatory body on Thursday.

Its share price has risen 12 percent since Elon Musk offered to buy Twitter. Musk recently announced a 9 percent stake in Twitter.

In a letter to Twitter chairman Brett Taylor, Musk said: “Since investing in Twitter, I understand that the organization will not improve or meet social needs in the current situation. Twitter needs to be transformed into a private company.

“My proposal is the best and final,” Musk said. If this proposal is not accepted, then my position as a shareholder should be considered.

Earlier this week, Musk said he had canceled plans to join Twitter’s board of directors. Because, if he sits on the Twitter board, he will have to face obstacles in buying the company.

The board of directors says on Twitter that they have received the offer of a mask. The proposal is being reviewed.
