Covid: After 3 months, the daily identification left two hundred

The number of Kovid patients identified in the country has further increased in the last one day; Coronavirus infection has been detected in 232 more people.

Earlier, on March 18, the health department had reported the identification of 233 coronaviruses. Three months later, more than 200 patients were identified.

With the onset of the new type of coronavirus, the number of patients diagnosed daily dropped to less than a thousand by the end of February. At one point on March 26, it dropped to less than a hundred

On May 5, the number of patients identified daily decreased to 4 in order to reduce the number of infections. However, the number of identified patients has been increasing again for the last 13 consecutive days since May 22.

After 11 weeks, the number of daily identified covid patients exceeded one hundred again last Sunday. On that day, 109 people across the country were infected with coronavirus, according to the Department of Health. 126 new patients were identified in 24 hours till Monday morning. The number of patients identified on Tuesday increased to 162. Two hundred left it on Wednesday.

According to the Department of Health, the 232 new patients have been identified by testing 5,096 samples in 24 hours till Wednesday morning.

217 of them are residents of Dhaka metropolis and district. Apart from this, 2 people in Narayanganj; Two in Barisal, five in Chittagong, three in Cox’s Bazar, one in Faridpur, Comilla, Joypurhat and one in Bogra.

In the last one day, the detection rate has increased to 3.6 percent as compared to the sample test, which was 3.56 percent on the previous day.

The number of patients identified in the country with new patients has increased to 19 lakh 54 thousand 736 people.
