Case filed against North South Proctor

A case has been registered against some students of North South University for beating and harassing a teacher of Jahangirnagar University. The victim teacher Atiqur Rahman has filed two separate cases in the police station and court.

Atiqur Rahman is a part time teacher at North South University. He filed the first case against five students at Bhatara police station on Wednesday. Later on Saturday, Dhaka South Court (CMM) filed a case against North South Proctor Abu Noman M Atahar Ali and five students under the Digital Security Act.

The five students accused in the two cases are Lima Akter, Sheikh Afsar Fahim, Dipankar Das, Haimin Al Moeed and Tanjib Islam Mithil.

Teacher Atiqur Rahman complained to Prothom Alo and said, ‘The police have dropped some of my complaints. So I have filed a case in the court under the Digital Security Act. He further complained, “Lima Akhtar asked me for exam questions. I did not agree. He got angry and harassed me. ‘

Regarding the teacher’s complaint, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bhatara Police Station Sajjadur Rahman told Prothom Alo: We are investigating the case.
