Another Israeli attack on Al-Aqsa compound, 18 wounded

On the third day, there was a clash between the country’s police and Palestinian protesters in the Holy Al-Aqsa Mosque premises in Israel’s occupied East Jerusalem. At least 17 Palestinians have been injured in attacks by Israeli police.

On Sunday, police started the operation in the mosque premises during Fajr prayers on Sunday. The incident took place at that time.

Israeli authorities say police entered the mosque compound on Sunday to facilitate regular visits to the holy site by Jews. At that time, the Palestinians obstructed the police.

At one point, the police drove the Palestinians out of the mosque. However, several took refuge inside the mosque. Two Palestinians were arrested at the time.
