In the middle of the sky, the passenger's mobile caught fire in the Indigo plane

A passenger’s mobile phone caught fire on . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Thursday on Indigo Biman’s Dibrugarh-Delhi flight. However, the cabin crew reportedly put out the fire with the help of fire extinguishers.

No one was injured when the passenger’s mobile phone caught fire. The incident took place on an Indigo 8E 2038 flight from Dribrugarh to Delhi.

A crew member of the plane saw sparks and smoke coming out of a passenger’s mobile phone.

 

Officials said the crew immediately extinguished the fire with the help of a fire extinguisher. The plane landed safely at Delhi Airport at 12:45 pm.  

Indigo said in a statement that smoke billowed from a mobile phone on Flight 8E2038 from Dibrugarh to Delhi. Our crew is trained to deal with dangerous incidents and they quickly control the situation. No passengers or cargo were damaged.
